生物質熱風爐運行必須保持正常水位。當水位低於最低安全水位線時,稱為缺水事故。缺水事故可分為輕微缺水和嚴重缺水兩種。如水位在最低安全水位線以下,但還能看見,或雖然已看不見水位,但對允許采用“叫水法”成都收賬生物質熱風爐進行“叫水”後水位很快出現時,屬於輕微缺水。如水位已看不見,用“叫水法”也不能出現時,屬於嚴重缺水。
