我國环氧地坪塗料業發展有著3個轉折點

环氧地坪塗料業發展有著3個轉折點：即綠色环保塗料、綠色环保工程、綠色环保服務，簡稱“三綠环保”。环氧樹脂塗料特別是环氧地坪塗料，在很多建築應用上是“三綠环保”的首選產品。從20世紀90年代初開始，世界發達國傢進行瞭“綠色革命”，促進瞭塗料工業的發展向“綠色”塗料方向大步邁進。以工業防腐塗料為例，在北美1992年常規溶劑型塗料占49%，到2000年降為26%；水性塗料、高固體份塗料、光固化塗料和粉末塗料由1992年的51%上升到2002年的74%。在歐洲常規溶劑型塗料由1992年的49%將降到2002年的27%；而水性塗料、高固體塗料、光固化塗料和粉末塗料將由1992年的51%增長到2002年的73%。重防腐塗料正沿著高性能、高效率、低能耗和低污染的方向前進。良好的高耐蝕性樹脂和新型顏料、填料的開發是重防腐塗料發展的關鍵，對塗覆基體進行認真的表面清理是重防腐塗料達到使用壽命的基礎，科學的塗裝設計要求、塗料配套方案、塗裝施工技術、嚴格的質量檢測和維護管理是實現重防腐塗料防腐效果的保證。

Serious surface cleaning of the coating matrix is the basis for the service life of heavy-duty anticorrosive coatings. Scientific painting design requirements, coating matching schemes, painting construction technology, strict quality inspection and maintenance management are the guarantee of the anticorrosive effect of heavy-duty anticorrosive coatings.
正因為环氧地坪其本身的物理機械性能、耐腐蝕性能及粘接性能的穩定性，從而已經被廣泛應用於化工、電子、輕工、航工、機械、交通、汽車等工業領域，對國民經濟發展起著極其重要的作用。而今後在我國進入中等發達國傢的進程中，它們的應用將遠遠大於目前的規模。

中國环氧樹脂行業協會專傢稱，工業环氧地坪塗料一般常用环氧樹脂塗料和聚氨脂塗料，這2類塗料都具有良好耐化學品性、耐磨損和耐機械沖擊性能，但由於水泥地面是易吸潮的多孔性材料，對潮濕容忍性差的聚氨酯施工時易引起層間剝離、小泡等弊病，固粘結性、耐磨性不如环氧地坪的塗料。
Experts from China Epoxy Resin Industry Association said that epoxy resin coatings and polyurethane coatings are commonly used in industrial floor coatings. These two kinds of coatings have good chemical resistance, wear resistance and mechanical impact resistance. However, because cement floor is a porous material which is easy to absorb moisture, polyurethane with poor wet tolerance can easily cause defects such as interlayer peeling and bubbles during construction, such as bonding and resistance. The abrasiveness is not as good as that of epoxy floor coatings.
