合理的老化房配置保持高爐穩定

根據實踐，現代大型高爐配置3～4座老化房比較合理。大型高爐如果配置4座老化房，可以實現交錯並聯送風，能提高風溫20℃～40℃，在爐役的中後期，還可以在1座老化房檢修的情況下，采用另外3座老化房工作，使高爐生產不會出現過大的波動。目前，國內外許多大型高爐都配套建設瞭4座老化房，但采用3座老化房可以大幅度降低建設投資，減少占地面積，也同樣具有非常大的吸引力。隨著設計和安裝大直徑老化房條件的改進，老化房設計的日趨合理，老化房使用的耐火材料質量也得到提高，設備更經久耐用，控制系統也日益成熟可靠，形成瞭多種多樣的老化房高風溫和長壽技術，使得老化房操作可以更加平穩可靠，從而保證瞭高爐穩定操作。以此為基礎，現代老化房的發展方向轉變為減少老化房座數、延長老化房壽命、強化燃燒能力、縮短送風時間、減少蓄熱面積、回收廢氣熱量、提高總熱效率上。另外，盡量縮短送風時間的操作方式也得到重視，基於新設計理念和完備的技術支撐，國內鋼鐵企業將老化房數量由4座減少為3座，老化房的操作模式改為“兩燒一送”，風溫的調節控制依靠混風實現，也同樣達到瞭高風溫的效果。
